Profile

Matt Geyman is a member of Phillips Law Group, PLLC, and has practiced in Seattle since 1987. He has a broad range of trial and appellate litigation experience, focusing on consumer class actions and consumer law, intellectual property, and general litigation. Recent successes include successful prosecution of copyright and trademark claims in federal court; favorable settlements of class actions involving hospital charity care, undisclosed hospital charges, and improper sub-prime lending practices; and victories for Washington farm workers and immigrant workers in civil rights and pro bono cases in both state and federal courts. In 2002, Matt was named Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year by the WSBA, and in 2009 he received the Amicus Award from Northwest Immigrant Rights Project. He chairs the Laurel Rubin Farm Worker Justice Project and serves on the Legal Aid for Washington Fund (LAW Fund) Board.
