McKay has been a trial lawyer since 1976, including serving as a King County Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney (1976-1981) and as the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Washington (1989-1993). Mike has also been hired on multiple occasions to conduct corporate and government internal investigations, including investigations of the Port of Seattle, the Washington Attorney General's Office, and the Seattle Police Department.
