Profile

Miguel's practice focuses on immigration law. He has a diverse practice representing individuals and companies in various stages of the immigrant and nonimmigrant process. His practice includes family-based petitions, removal defense, naturalization, immigrant, and nonimmigrant visas. He has particular experience with the immigration consequences of criminal offenses. He has presented CLEs on removal defense and immigration fundamentals and been a speaker at numerous events and organizations. Miguel is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Latina/o Bar Association of Washington (LBAW), and serves as the Co-Chair of LBAW's Immigration Committee. Miguel received his Bachelor's in Political Science, cum laude with honors, from the University of Washington in 2001. He received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2004.
