Profile

Paul Cane is a graduate of the University of California Hastings College of Law (1978) and the University of Washington (1973). He began his career as a deputy prosecuting attorney. Since 1982, he has practiced on behalf of defendants in civil suits at the request of their insurers, and occasionally serves as an arbitrator in UIM disputes. He takes pride in knowing that 2008 will bring the 20th anniversary of Thorsrud Cane & Paulich, and mark his 30th year of practicing law. To any young person considering a career as a litigator who happens by some accident upon this space, he would like to pass on these words of encouragement: if you like solving mysteries and every now and then feeling like you have helped someone to a better place, go for it.
