Paul W. Whelan is a 1967 graduate of the UW School of Law. He clerked for then-Chief Justice Robert C. Finley of the Washington State Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice in Washington, the Ninth Circuit, the United States Supreme Court, and the United States Claims Court, as well as Eastern and Western District of Washington Federal District Courts. He is a member of the Washington State and Federal Bar Associations, Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Attorneys Information Exchange Group, American Board of Trial Advocates, and Trial Lawyers for Public Justice. He received the Washington ABOTA Chapter 2003 Trial Lawyer of the Year Award and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America.
