Raegen served as a staff attorney to the Supreme Court of Washington before joining Skellenger Bender, P.S., where she is presently a shareholder. Raegen's practice includes adoption and assisted reproduction; contested family law, including child custody and visitation, dissolutions of marriage and non-marital domestic partnerships; and defense of health-care professionals in licensing and disciplinary proceedings. Raegen is a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys and served on Washington's Legislative Study Panel on Adoption. She is a frequent presenter on topics of adoption, assisted reproduction, and professional ethics for health-care professionals. Raegen has acted as a cooperating attorney for the Northwest Women's Law Center and American Civil Liberties Union of Washington, and co-chairs the King County Bar Association's Judicial Screening Committee. She has been named to the Rising Stars list since 2005.
