Rebecca practices in the areas of family law and estate planning at Skellenger Bender. She focuses on marital dissolutions and representation of unmarried persons and registered domestic partners in matters involving parenting, property division, child custody (including non-parental custody), adoption, and estate planning. Prior to joining Skellenger Bender in 2006, she was an Associate at Preston, Gates & Ellis and a Public Interest Fellow at Columbia Legal Services. She is a graduate of Yale Law School and Santa Clara University. She has her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Washington's Master of Professional Accounting Program. She teaches Estate Tax, Gift Tax, and Income Taxation of Trusts and Estates.
