Rob's practice emphasizes construction law, and Rob also regularly serves as a mediator and an arbitrator. Rob's clients include contractors, suppliers, project owners, and designers. Rob practices in Washington state courts and in federal courts, as well as in the Court of Federal Claims and the various federal government contract appeals boards. Rob comes from a "construction family" in that his grandfather, father, and uncle were contractors. Their company played an integral role in constructing such projects as Grand Coulee Dam, Fairchild Air Base and Interstate 90. Rob began his career working for the family firm and performed various estimating and project management positions until earning his law degree. Simply, Rob has worked in and for the construction industry his entire life. Rob is the current chairperson of the Construction Law Section of the WSBA.
