Sandra Lynn Perkins practices in the areas of estate planning and probate law, including assisting clients with prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, charitable transfers, and challenging family issues. After 20 years in practice, she opened her own law office in January 2000. Sandra is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), and she has served on the Executive Committee of WSBA's Real Property, Probate, and Trust Section. She is an active member of Washington Women's Foundation. Sandra is a third generation lawyer who grew up helping out in her father's law office in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. She and her husband, UW architecture professor Jeffrey Ochsner (author of Lionel H. Pries, Architect, Artist, Educator, and co-author of Shaping Seattle Architecture), live in northeast Seattle with their cats, Summer, Autumn and Lionel.
