Profile

Steve is a trial lawyer who was admitted to practice in 1975 and has always limited his practice to plaintiffs' personal injury cases. For the last 20 years, he has worked exclusively on medical negligence lawsuits. He has represented severely injured people and their families throughout Washington in state and federal court. He has also litigated cases in Alaska, Oregon, and California. He is a graduate of Claremont Men's (McKenna) College and Gonzaga School of Law, where he was an editor of the Gonzaga Law Review. He is active in the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association and was elected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates. Steve has spoken at various trial lawyer seminars and is often asked to serve as a mediator in medical negligence cases. He also lectures at the University of Washington School of Medicine and School of Law on a regular basis.
