Profile

Tom Peterson helps clients acquire, transfer, secure, and manage real estate. Tom has practiced in real estate, land use, and commercial litigation since 1986. He represents property owners, lenders, developers, homeowners' associations, title companies, and real estate professionals in real estate transactions, title claims, foreclosures, purchase-and-sale and lease disputes, condominium matters, and land use issues. Mr. Peterson negotiates and drafts all types of real estate agreements, has successfully tried jury and nonjury trials in federal and state courts, and has argued and won many appeals. He served as a law clerk for Ninth Circuit Judge Thomas Tang and as a legal intern for the U.S. Attorney. He is a graduate of Yale College and the University of Oregon School of Law (Order of the Coif, Law Review).
