Profile

Since graduating from the UW School of Law in 2003, Valerie has represented appellants and respondents in over 35 appeals -- more than most practitioners with decades of experience. Valerie participates in all phases of the appellate process, from consulting on complex and emerging domestic relations issues in the superior court before an appeal is filed to assisting with post-mandate issues. Valerie was an executive member of the Moot Court Honor Board at the University of Washington, where she currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Child and Youth Advocacy Clinic. In her spare time, Valerie enjoys hiking, scuba diving, cat sitting, and red-eye flights to New Jersey.
