Profile

W. Scott Snyder focuses his practice on issues relating to employment and land use. Scott has served as the Edmonds City Attorney since 1983. He has also served as a hearing officer for the Civil Service Commissions of Bothell and Clyde Hill and as a special counsel to King and Snohomish Counties, the Cities of Bremerton, Redmond, and Poulsbo, and to numerous other public and private employers, such as Kitsap Transit, the Prelli Corporation, and PublicSafetyTesting.com. Mr. Snyder is a member of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court and argued Edmonds v. Oxford House to the court in 1995. He advises public and private entities on matters related to the Federal Fair Housing Act, the ADA, and the Washington Law Against Discrimination.
