Clarence E. Martin, III is the grandson of the firm's founder.A formwer Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, he represents his clients in matters relating to asbestos, insurance coverage issues, and complex litigation. A fifth generation state legislator and former Assistant Counsel to the Commerce Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, he represents clients in regulatory, administrative, and legislative matters. He is a former president of the West Virginia Bar Association, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and the West Virginia Bar Foundation,past chair of the Discover the REAL West Virginia Foundation and past Chair of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce.
