With roots dating back to 1873, Ryan Kromholz & Manion, S.C. is a group of nine experienced attorneys specializing in all aspects of intellectual property law. The firm represents a variety of large and small companies throughout the United States and abroad in diverse technological fields.

DANIEL D. RYAN

focuses his practice on patents and patent litigation. He has prepared and prosecuted more than 250 U.S. patents, and has been continuously listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 1991. He has successfully litigated many cases in federal courts. Patents that Dan has prepared and prosecuted have consistently withstood the test of litigation and re-examination. Dan has also been asked to offer expert testimony in litigation and arbitration proceedings.

JOSEPH A. KROMHOLZ

focuses his practice mainly on patent litigation. Joe has also successfully litigated many intellectual property cases in both federal and state courts. He has been a lecturer in intellectual property law practice at Marquette University, and has been an assistant adjunct professor at Marquette University Law School.

JOHN M. MANION

focuses his practice in the areas of patents and patent litigation, trademarks and trademark litigation, copyrights and trade secrets. He counsels clients on issues that deal with patentability, registrability, infringement, licensing and litigation. John primarily represents manufacturing companies throughout the state of Wisconsin.
