Amy L. Shapiro has been practicing family law for more than 25 years. She practices traditional litigation and is also a mediator and collaborative divorce attorney. Amy received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1976 and her law degree from Boston University in 1981. She received her family law mediation certification in 2005. Amy concentrates her practice on divorce, paternity, custody matters, interstate custody disputes, support and post-judgment matters. Her focus is on protecting her clients' rights while recognizing the intangible effects of family separation. Amy has spoken on and authored several articles on family law. She has been named to the Super Lawyers list for the past three years.
