Profile

Christopher M. Bailey earned his M.A. (Political Science) and J.D. at Marquette University. He represents criminal defendants at the trial and appellate level in both state and federal courts.  His accomplishments include successfully litigating a case before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals that vacated his client's twelve-year prison sentence and essentially nullified the drug tax stamp law in Wisconsin. Another successful appeal changed how defendants' criminal history is calculated in federal court.  Attorney Bailey represents the mentally ill on civil commitments.  His practice includes appearing as both advocate counsel and guardian ad litem on Chips cases.
