Dennis Melowski is the founding partner of Melowski & Associates, LLC, located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He has a statewide practice limited to DUI defense. With a record of well over 300 drunk driving cases amended or dismissed, including more than 70 complete jury acquittals, Mr. Melowski is the go-to attorney in Wisconsin for DUI defense.

Mr. Melowski's excellence in the field of DUI defense has earned him substantial recognition in the legal community. He has been named a Wisconsin Super Lawyer 6 times, more than any other attorney in his field. He has also been profiled in well-known magazines, including Wisconsin Newsweek in 2009 and a special edition of Forbes Magazine in 2007. The American Trial Lawyer's Association (ATLA) has also honored him as a  "Top 100" trial lawyer.  

Because of his unmatched record of success in DUI defense, Mr. Melowski often speaks at legal seminars in Wisconsin and elsewhere in the country. His knowledge and expertise has also been instrumental in making changes and updates to the Wisconsin State Bar Traffic Law and Practice Manual, considered the definitive treatise on traffic law in the state.

In addition to his DUI practice, Mr. Melowski has, on occassion, handled select criminal cases with a high degree of success. Some of these cases have attracted significant media attention, including winning the only acquittal of a client charged in connection with the murder of a police officer, and another complete acquittal of a client facing more than 40 years in prison for attempted homicide and other charges.

Mr. Melowski is a Life Member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) and is also a member of the Wisconsin and American Bar Associations.
