Dixon R. Gahnz is a shareholder at Lawton & Cates, S.C., a Madison-based law firm serving a wide range of legal needs for individuals, families and businesses throughout the state of Wisconsin. Mr. Gahnz's practice at the firm is largely devoted to representing injured plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits stemming from motor vehicle accidents of every type, slip-and-fall accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, and other causes. Mr. Gahnz also focuses on commercial litigation, including breach of contract disputes and business-related torts.
Mr. Gahnz is a cum laude graduate of University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D., 1994) and a certified civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is also committed to improving the communities he is a part of by serving on the village board of DeForest as well as its Downtown Redevelopment Authority.
