Donald J. Chewning is a partner at Winter, Chewning & Geary, LLP, a Wisconsin law firm that focuses primarily on helping individuals obtain Social Security disability benefits. The firm has offices in Two Rivers, Green Bay, and Oshkosh and represents clients throught the surrounding portions of the state. Mr. Chewning focuses solely on helping clients obtain Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits, providing assistance with initial applications and handling denied claim appeals at both the administrative and federal court levels of the process.

Mr. Chewning is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (B.A., 1997), a summa cum laude graduate of Marquette University Law School (J.D., 2000), and a former law clerk to the Honorable Justice Ann Walsh Bradley of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. He has argued cases in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Chewning remains an active member of several professional organizations, including the State Bar of Wisconsin (member, board of governors, 2008-2010), the Manitowoc County Bar Association and a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR).
