Attorney James W. McNeilly, Jr., is the principal of McNeilly Law Offices, LLC. With three attorneys in three offices located in La Crosse, Lake Geneva and Pleasant Prairie, the firm serves clients throughout western and southeastern Wisconsin in the areas of agricultural law, bankruptcy, business, creditor-debtor, estate planning, probate and real estate. Jim is licensed to practice in all Wisconsin state courts and also before the Eastern and Western Wisconsin U.S. District Courts.
A leader in his field, Jimis an AV rated* attorney and has been selected for inclusion in the Wisconsin Super Lawyers list each year since 2008. He has published several articles related to business law and bankruptcy, and is also a frequent lecturer for bar associations, legal seminars and other professional organizations.
Jim is the current Chair of the Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Creditor's Rights Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin. Jim is also a member of several professional associations, including the State Bar of Wisconsin, Kenosha County, La Crosse County, Milwaukee County, and Wisconsin Hispanic Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Racine Kenosha Estate Planning Council and is the current Vice Chairperson of the Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Creditors Rights section of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
