Jennifer L. Bolger graduated from Marquette University in 1993 with a B.A. in History (concentrations in Chemistry, French, and English). After spending time in Colorado, Chicago, and Portland, Oregon as a skier, health care marketer, and health policy researcher, respectively, she returned to Milwaukee and received her J.D. from the Marquette University Law School in 2000. Ms. Bolger was an editor of the law review and authored: Comment, "Creating Economic Incentives to Preserve Unique Ecosystems: Should Wisconsin Adopt a Private Wetlands Mitigation Banking Policy?" 83 Marquette Law Review 625, Spring, 2000. Ms. Bolger's environmental practice includes advising clients in many different states on regulatory issues under RCRA, CERCLA and related state programs including compliance counseling and site remediation; counseling clients during a real estate transaction on environmental due diligence; guiding property owners during a regulatory agency's site investigation; counseling clients on the proper transportation and storage of hazardous materials and waste, including the international transboundary movements thereof; supporting environmental litigation matters, including contribution and cost recovery claims, toxic torts, public and private nuisance claims and other environmental contractual rights. Ms. Bolger is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. She is a member of the Milwaukee and American Bar Associations, as well as the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Eastern District Bar Association of Wisconsin, and the Association of Women Lawyers. Ms. Bolger is a member of the Board of Directors of the Urban Ecology Center and its Development Committee. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Milwaukee Venture Group. She is a member of Professional Dimensions, and the Bay View Neighborhood Association Environment and Transportation Committee. Ms. Bolger has been selected as a Rising Star by Wisconsin Lawyer for the past three years.
