Attorney Julius Kim is the managing partner at Kim & LaVoy, S.C., where he specializes in criminal defense with a particular emphasis on domestic violence, drug offenses, drunk driving and white collar crimes.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Kim acted as an assistant district attorney in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. His background as a criminal prosecutor has given him a thorough understanding of all aspects of criminal prosecution.
Having litigated over 100 jury trials and many more motion hearings, Mr. Kim has earned a reputation as a skilled and effective trial lawyer. He has also successfully negotiated thousands of favorable plea deals for his clients.
Mr. Kim acted as an advisor on domestic violence investigations to the State of Wisconsin's Department of Justice. He also provided legal instruction to the Milwaukee Police Department and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department.
Attorney Julius Kim is admitted to practice law in the United States Supreme Court, the United States 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the state of Wisconsin.
He also maintains active professional memberships with the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Waukesha County Bar Association, and the Washington County Bar Association.
