Michael L. Laufenberg joined his father at the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, law firm of Laufenberg, Stombaugh & Jassak, S.C., in May of 2000. Prior to that time, Mike practiced for several years in Mayville and Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where he gained a broad experience in a variety of legal matters, including family law, real estate, criminal traffic matters, insurance issues and personal injury.
Today Mike focuses his practice on representing individuals and families harmed by another person’s carelessness. Mike represents individuals and families across Wisconsin, and has tried cases to juries throughout the state of Wisconsin. While the circumstances of each case may vary from auto accident injuries to medical negligence to product defects to premises liability, his commitment to providing aggressive, thoughtful representation is the same.
Mike received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota in 1992, and his juris doctor from Marquette University Law School in 1995.
Mike is an active member in the Wisconsin Association for Justice, has served on various committees in the organization, and has served on its board of directors since 1997. Mike was selected for inclusion in the Wisconsin Super Lawyers – Rising Stars Edition in 2006, 2007 and 2008, and was selected for inclusion in the Wisconsin Super Lawyers in 2009 and 2010.
