Sheila L. Romell has 23 years of experience representing clients in family law matters. She is a 1988 graduate of Marquette University Law School, where she was selected for the Marquette Law Review. She has been a member of the state bar Family Law Section, Leander J. Foley, Jr. Matrimonial Chapter of the American Inns of Court, and the Society of Family Lawyers. She served on the state bar committee that recommended changes to the client trust account rules. She represents both men and women in divorce cases. She also represents clients in post judgment custody, placement and support matters. She serves frequently as a Guardian ad Litem in divorce and paternity actions. In addition to serving as advocate counsel in family law matters, she also acts as a mediator for divorce, custody and placement disputes. Attorney Romell frequently lectures on the topics of divorce, legal ethics, and guardian ad litem issues. She has been a Wisconsin Super Lawyer since 2006.
