Timothy S. Knurr focuses his practice on civil trial work in the areas of personal injury and business law. His trial experience is demonstrated by the fact that, in 2005 alone, he tried 13 cases to verdict. In 2008 he obtained the highest auto accident verdict in Racine County's history. In 2009 he successfully defended Wisconsin's largest civil racketeering claim ever made. He is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and has achieved Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating for attorneys, AV-Preeminent. He served as District 15's representative to the State Bar of Wisconsin Board of Governors for five years. He served on the Racine County Bar Association's Board of Governors for four years, and served as its president in 2005-2006. He was selected by the Wisconsin Law Journal to receive the 2009 "Leaders in the Law" award which recognizes the the 25 most "talented, dedicated and successful attorneys" for the year. The American Trial Lawyers Association selected Attorney Knurr as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer for 2010 and 2011. In 2011, Attorney Knurr was named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only.
