Profile

Willard P. Techmeier is the senior partner of The Cochran Firm -- Wisconsin LLP. From his office in Milwaukee, he handles complex personal injury litigation cases, including mass torts, class action, pharmaceutical litigation and other types of personal injury accidents.

Mr. Techmeier is an AV-rated* attorney and has obtained numerous million- and multimillion-dollar settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients. One of his personal successes was the recovery of $25.2 million for a single injury case, one of the largest in Wisconsin history. He is also a certified civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

An active participant in the legal community, Mr. Techmeier is a director for the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers and chair of its Trial by Jury Committee. He is a member of several legal associations, including the American Bar Association, the Wisconsin State Bar and the Milwaukee Bar Association. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice.

 Mr. Techmeier received his law degree from Marquette University School of Law and is admitted to practice before both state and federal courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals, 7th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
