Profile

Specialize in electronic discovery and litigation. With Professor Grenig of the Marquette University Law School co-authored a multi-volume treatise entitled, e-Discovery & Digital Evidence. It has been kept current from 2005 to the present and is now Thomson-Reuter's flagship publication on electronic litigation. Provide "of counsel" assistance to law firms facing e-discovery disputes, with an emphasis on: a) Briefing and arguing e-discovery motions; b) Structuring e-discovery interrogatories and requests to produce; c) Handling e-discovery depositions; d) Selecting and managing forensic experts; e) Assist with preparation for electronic presentations at trial using Trial Director, including assistance with the setup and management of an electronic war room; and f) Prosecuting appeals of e-discovery issues to appropriate appellate tribunals. As a member of the Wisconsin Judicial Council last year, helped draft the proposed new rules of e-discovery which will be considered by the Wisconsin Supreme Court in January of 2010. Former Summation Certified Trainer. Frequent CLE lecturer on e-discovery at various Bar programs in Wisconsin. As Chair of the Amicus Curiae Committee of the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers from 2000 until 2007, participated in numerous appeals before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
