Kevin Casey, chairman of the intellectual property practice group at Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, Philadelphia, participated in the 2008 Mets Fantasy Camp in Port St. Lucie, Fla. During the six-day program, Casey and the other participants lived and practiced just like major league players. They were assigned to a team and each received his own clubhouse locker, trainer, equipment and two authentic Mets uniforms, which they wore to play daily games. While at camp, the pros managed the teams, provided instruction and made special appearances. On the final morning, each team played a three-inning game against the pros. Casey earned his team's MVP award for his strong pitching, fielding and hitting during this game and throughout the week.

Heather S. Heidelbaugh of Babst, Calland, Clements and Zomnir is a panelist on "Off Q," a television talk show on WQED, Pittsburgh's public broadcasting station. Each week, the panel dives into a spirited discussion of the week's headlines and hot topics. Heidelbaugh addresses these topics not only from her perspective as a litigator and political activist, but also from the view of a mother of two teenagers.

Work keeps Stradley Ronon's Paul Patterson on the run, but not as much as his passion away from the office. Patterson, chairman of the Philadelphia firm's bankruptcy, workouts and creditor's rights practice group, has participated in triathlons and running events for the last 10 years. He is a USA Triathlon age-group All-American and has completed the Boston Marathon three times and finished five Ironman distance triathlons, as well as completed many shorter distance events. This August, Patterson will participate in the ITU Long Course Triathlon World Championships in Holland as a member of Team USA, which will compete against 50 other countries.

Callers to Dion Rassias' cell phone may recognize the mellow baritone voice of Harry Kalas, longtime play-by-play announcer for the Philadelphia Phillies, as he informs listeners that, like a long drive off the bat of Ryan Howard, Rassias "is outta here." Rassias, who specializes in complex business disputes, medical malpractice and libel at The Beasley Firm, Philadelphia, negotiated Kalas' three-year contract with the Phillies in December 2006.

Stephen A. Sheller, managing partner of Sheller, P.C., Philadelphia, was honored along with his wife, Sandy, by the Salvation Army with their "Others" Award for extraordinary service on behalf of others and exceptional service to the Salvation Army and the community. He is on the Leadership Cabinet in charge of the new $100 million Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center being built in North Philadelphia to provide needed services to the region.

Mark D. Shepard, a shareholder in the litigation services group at Babst, Calland, Clements and Zomnir, Pittsburgh, completed the 2007 Marine Corps marathon, his first. Shepard and two lifelong friends trained and ran the marathon together to celebrate their 50th birthdays. To commemorate their training from decades prior, the men wore replicas of their 1975 high school cross-country uniforms. They selected the Marine Corps marathon because one of Shepard's friends is a full colonel in the Marines.

Mitchell J. Shore, managing partner of Kolsby Gordon Robin Shore & Bezar in Philadelphia, continues as chairman of the board of the Presidential Classroom for Young Americans. The Presidential Classroom is a civic education program based in Washington, D.C., for the nation's top high school junior and senior students.

For the second year in a row, Caroselli, Beachler, McTiernan & Conboy, Pittsburgh, has captured the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation "Walk to Cure Diabetes" corporate T-shirt competition. Three of the partners in the firm have children who have juvenile diabetes. The annual walk for the Western Pennsylvania area drew more than 5,600 participants in 2007 and raised $1.09 million to help find a cure.
