A $4 billion settlement Baron and Budd attorneys reached with Halliburton is the largest asbestos trust fund in the world. Baron and Budd even won a at the United States Supreme Court that helped protect the rights of individual asbestos claimants to seek compensation.

Over the years Baron and Budd attorneys have given back to the community. The firm was a cornerstone donor of the International Mesothelioma Program (IMP) and financially supported the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) and Lung Cancer Alliance (LCA).
