Details
I have 20 years experience litigating and arbitrating complex international and domestic business disputes, with a particular emphasis on antitrust/competition and intellectual property matters. I have represented individuals and corporations of all sizes from the United States and nearly two dozen other nations in trial and appellate courts throughout the U.S. and in domestic and international arbitration tribunals. I strive to deliver each client thoughtful analysis, sound judgment, aggressive advocacy, and close attention to client service.
I began my career at the highly-regarded international law firms Heller Ehrman (since dissolved) and Latham & Watkins. I clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York, after receiving my law degree (with high honors) from the University of Michigan and my undergraduate degree (with honors) from Harvard. My pro bono work has included a major victory in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, halting efforts to water down the famous "dolphin-safe" standard for canned tuna.
