Profile

Roger E. Booth is a very experienced trial lawyer who has represented both plaintiffs and defendants, and both individuals and corporations, throughout California and the United States.  Since 1997, he has focused on representing individuals who have suffered catastrophic personal injuries such as paralysis, brain injuries, burn injuries and childhood sexual abuse or the death of a loved one.  He also handles insurance bad faith and business tort cases.  Mr. Booth and his partners handle a select number of major cases and leave no stone unturned in the preparation of each and every case.  They have obtained over 60 jury verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million. Mr. Booth graduated from law school at UC Berkeley (Boalt Hall) in 1991. He is an active member of various consumer attorney organizations and frequently writes articles and gives speeches on subjects related to trial practice.

Verdicts and Settlements: Notable verdicts and settlements include:1.  Baez v. Summit Media, et al. - $2,395,000 settlement reached in 2004 in personal injury case involving billboard installer who was electrocuted by high voltage lines.2.  Lee v. Sheehan, et al. - $2,000,000 settlement reached in 2007 in wrongful death case in which decedent's car was struck by a horse, and there was evidence that the horse may have run on to the road after being frightened by a tiger.3.  Rodriguez v. Anderson Hydraulics, et al. - $1,519,823 jury verdict in 1998 in personal injury case in which the plaintiff's hand was crushed in a concrete block making machine.4.  Oester v. Martin Brothers, et al. - $1,250,000 settlement reached in 2007 in personal injury case on behalf of ironworker who suffered knee injuries after falling through an open elevator shaft during construction of the Reagan Library. 
Educational Background: Graduated cumlaude from Pomona College with a degree in English literature in 1987 and graduated from Boalt Hall School of Law in 1991.
