Lawyer Thomas W. Carey is the founding and senior partner of the Clearwater, Florida, law firm Carey & Leisure. Mr. Carey focuses on personal injury law, representing clients injured in car and other motor vehicle accidents, with a special emphasis on pursuing justice for people injured in accidents with drunk drivers; cemetery malpractice and funeral home malpractice; and slip-and-fall premises liability accidents.

Following the tragic loss of his wife in an accident caused by a drunk driver in 1984, Mr. Carey became a strong and vocal advocate against drunk driving. In the ensuing years attorney Thomas Carey earned recognition as a leader in obtaining jury verdicts, serving as lead counsel in numerous drunk driving personal injury cases, and spearheading legislative efforts and charitable endeavors in the fight against drunk driving and other personal injury concerns.
