My practice is dedicated to helping families through the difficult transitions that are inherent in divorce through the respectful, solution-based Collaborative process. I assist my client in identifying and attaining goals that are future-focused and child friendly. Collaborative Practice allows clients to retain control over their lives while helping the family develop mutually agreeable resolutions to those issues of most importance to them. I am the  founding and Past-President of the Maryland Collaborative Practice Council, a state-wide organization designed to promote Collaborative Practice to professionals and to educate the public. I also am the founding Presidence of the Collaborative Divorce Association, a Montgomery County, Maryland Collaborative Practice group.  In addition to being named a Super Lawyer in 2008 and 2009, am I so proud to have been voted by my peers as one of the Top 50 Super Lawyers in Maryland, and one of the Top 25 Women Super Lawyers in Maryland in 2009.  In 2008 and 2009, the Washingtonian Magazine listed me as a Top Divorce Lawyer in Washington D.C.   The Best Lawyers in America, a peer rated list published in The Washington Post Magazine, recognized me in 2008 and 2009 for my efforts in Collaborative Practice.
