Ria Rochvarg

Ria Rochvarg is recognized as one the leading lawyers in Maryland concentrating on the area of guardianship law. She represents the University of Maryland Medical System in guardianship matters, handles private guardianship cases, and is active in the drafting and study of guardianship legislation. She has also been appointed by circuit court judges in over thousands of guardianship cases to represent persons who are the subject of guardianship petitions. She serves on the Guardianship Workgroup of the Administrative Office of the Courts. Additionally, she has published articles and book chapters on guardianship law. She also lectures on guardianship law to attorneys and judges.. A 1992 graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, she has been in private practice since 1994 after working for the Legal Aid Bureau in Baltimore.
