As a partner at the law firm of Gair, Gair, Conason, Rubinowitz, Bloom, Hershenhorn, Steigman & Mackauf in New York City's Financial District, Jeffrey B. Bloom has established a reputation as an astute litigator in his nearly 35 years of practice. Representing clients throughout the New York metropolitan area and statewide, Mr. Bloom largely concentrates his practice on medical malpractice, a field in which he has distinguished himself, but he also takes on other personal injury matters, including product liability, auto accidents and construction accidents, in addition to legal malpractice litigation.

Mr. Bloom's extensive record as a trial lawyer includes numerous significant verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. His most notable cases include a $9.2 million settlement in a medical malpractice case in which doctors and hospital employees fail to timely diagnose and treat a small bowel obstruction,  an $8.85 million settlement on behalf of a young girl who suffered from preventable blindness, and a $3 million settlement for a child afflicted with Erb's palsy due to a botched delivery.He has also handles several substantial legal malpractice cases. 

A 1976 alumnus of Lehigh University's College of Business and Economics, earning a B.S. in Economics. Mr. Bloom completed his Juris Doctor in 1979 at Hofstra University School of Law. While there, he won the American Jurisprudence Award in Evidence. He gained admittance to practice in New York in 1980.

On account of his successes, Mr. Bloom has received numerous accolades, including membership in the elite International Academy of Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only organization of only 500 lawyers worldwide. Throughout his career, Mr. Bloom has dedicated himself to advancements in his field as a Co-Chair of the Medical Malpractice Committee of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and as a member of the legal organization's board of directors. From 2007 to present, and is the Co-chair and a Trustee of the organization's political action committee, LawPAC NY, and he has contributed dozens of technical papers to New York legal publications. 

Jeff Bloom has lectured extensively to law students and fellow lawyers on the preparation and trial of medical malpractice and personal injury lawsuits at such places as Hofstra and Fordham Law Schools and at programs sponsored by bar associations. He has also served as the Chairperson and lecturer in New York State Bar Association-sponsored programs entitled "Medical and Legal Issues in Breast Cancer and Gynecological Cancers and Surgery" and "Woman's Health Issues and Malpractice." He has also appeared as a commentator on Court TV. He also lectures extensively to fellow lawyers at bar association programs and to physicians at hospital sponsored programs and rounds.
