Arnold & Smith, PLLC was founded in 2007 by Matthew R. Arnold and J. Bradley Smith.  We are a litigation focused law firm in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina which is currently comprised of four litigation attorneys.  We primarily handle cases in the greater Charlotte area (Mecklenburg County, Union County, Cabarrus County, Gaston County and Iredell County) however we often handle matters outside of this area depending on the matters at issue.  In our family law group, we handle divorce, child custody, child support, post separation support, alimony, equitable distribution, domestic violence, adoption and other similar matters. 

We primarily handle family/matrimonial law matters along with criminal defense matters.  Often there is an intersection between these two areas of practice where our clients find comfort in knowing that all of their legal matters are handled by one law firm.  We pride ourselves in working hard to achieve the best results for our clients, whether this comes through negotiation or through litigation.
