Omid Azari

Omid Azari is the founder of Azari Law LLC in Laurel, Maryland, where he represents clients in both civil and criminal matters. Mr. Azari's law firm serves Laurel and surrounding communities such as Annapolis, Baltimore, Bethesda, Bowie, Columbia, Frederick and Gaithersburg.

Mr. Azari represents clients who have been accused of DUI/DWI in both criminal courts and at motor vehicle administration hearings. He also represents clients in landlord-tenant disputes and has experience in medical malpractice law, trademark law and estate planning. He regularly helps clients by preparing advance directives, powers of attorney and wills.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Mr. Azari also holds a Master of Arts degree in legal and ethical studies from the University of Baltimore. He earned his law degree from Appalachian School of Law and is licensed to practice in all Maryland state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland. He also received the DWI detection and standardized field sobriety certificate from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. He speaks Persian in addition to English and his office provides services in Spanish.

Mr. Azari has been recognized for his superior legal skills a number of times over the course of his career. From 2013 to 2015, The National Trial Lawyers named Mr. Azari to its list of "Top 40 Under 40." He was also featured on that organization's list of the top 100 trial lawyers.

Mr. Azari belongs to various professional organizations, including the Maryland State Bar Association and the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys' Association.
