Joseph A. Larson is the owner and principal attorney of the Joseph A. Larson Law Firm PLLC. He represents clients primarily in the Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota metro area, but also handles a number of cases throughout greater Minnesota and Wisconsin. His practice is focuses on plaintiff's employment litigation, sexual harassment, retaliation, workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, noncompetition and severance agreements, business law, trade secrets, personal injury and trucking law. He also advises several small businesses on employee matters, contracts, claim disputes and internal investigations of employee misconduct. 

Admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Minnesota, Mr. Larson is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in English and History, and then earned a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction Writing from Bowling Green State University. At Creighton University School of Law, he earned his Juris Doctor. While in law school, he was on the Board of Editors for the Creighton Law Review and on the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team.

With an Avvo “Superb” rating, Mr. Larson is a member of the Minnesota Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is a past board member of the Minnesota Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association's Practice Management and Marketing Section and New Lawyers Section, and the Hennepin County Bar Association's New Lawyers Section. He also currently volunteers as a mentor to law students from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law.

In 2009, he was one of fifteen law students in the country to receive a Burton Award for his law review article on false advertising in the student loan industry.
