Paul B. Goldhamer

A co-founder of Kantrowitz, Goldhamer & Graifman, P.C., Paul B. Goldhamer focuses his practice on divorce and other family law matters. The firm has locations in Chestnut Ridge, New York, and Montvale, New Jersey, and he represents clients in the New York counties of Rockland and Westchester as well as in Bergen County in New Jersey.

For his clients who are facing the end of their marriages, Mr. Goldhamer provides advice and counsel on such divorce-related matters as the division of complex assets, child custody and visitation, and alimony and child support. A tireless advocate in the courtroom, he also often pursues the resolution of these issues through negotiations or mediation. Mr. Goldhamer also has experience with post-divorce order modifications and parental relocations. In addition to his matrimonial practice, other family law matters he has dealt with have included paternity disputes and the preparation and review of prenuptial agreements. Mr. Goldhamer received a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Long Island University in 1971. He then obtained his legal education at New York Law School and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1974. While in law school, he interned with the Legal Aid Society in New York City. In addition to New York and New Jersey, Mr. Goldhamer is also admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, and he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Northern and Western Districts of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.
