Thomas C. Doehrman

Attorney Thomas C. Doehrman is a founding partner of Doehrman Buba in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Doehrman devotes his practice to personal injury law, serving clients in Indianapolis and throughout Indiana injured due to birth injury, brain injury, car accidents, medical malpractice, trucking accidents and wrongful death.

Mr. Doehrman has more than 40 years of litigation experience. He is admitted in all Indiana state courts and before various federal courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in numerous cases resulting in million- or multimillion-dollar settlements or verdicts for injured Indiana residents.

In 2002, Mr. Doehrman was recognized for his accomplishments by the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association who named him “Indiana Trial Lawyer of the Year.” He is board-certified in civil trial advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Holding leadership roles in various organizations, Mr. Doehrman was President of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) for 2010-11.   He currently serves on ITLA's board of directors.  Mr. Doehrman has been active in the Brain Injury Association of Indiana since 1981, and served as the President of the Association in 2001-02.

Mr. Doehrman is active in the national organization the American Association for Justice and belongs to the association’s leader’s forum. He also serves on the association’s board of governors and the trucking litigation group’s executive board.

Mr. Doehrman earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington. He went on to graduate from Indiana University School of Law, Cum Laude,  and has been a licensed attorney since 1976.
