Rebecca A. Fleming

At Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders, P.A., Rebecca A. Fleming is partner and represents clients in matters of family law, including same-sex family law, custody and visitation, prenuptial agreements, marital property, divorce and child support. While her practice focuses on the greater Baltimore metropolitan area and Towson, Maryland, Ms. Fleming has represented clients throughout the state. She focuses her litigation practice on family law but also has experience in insurance defense, personal injury and general civil litigation.

Ms. Fleming graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 1996 from the State University of New York. At the University of Maryland School of Law, she earned her Juris Doctor. She has completed the training necessary to satisfy the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals for family-related collaborative practice disputes. She has qualified as a mediator in general civil litigation classes, property settlement mediation and child access mediation.

The organizations Ms. Fleming is a member of include the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Dissenters Law Club of Baltimore County, the Baltimore Carroll Women’s Bar Association and the Baltimore County Bar Association. Over the last 10 years she has served as vice chair, chair or committee member for a long list of professional organizations, including the Continuing Legal Education committee. That service has led to her serving as president of the Baltimore County Bar Association.

To educate attorneys and paralegals in the area of family law, Ms. Fleming regularly speaks at various seminars. She also speaks at civic centers and high schools throughout Baltimore County and was a guest lecturer for Stevenson University and the University of Maryland School of Law.
