Adina R. Bergstrom is one of the founding partners at Sauro & Bergstrom, PLLC, in Oakdale, Minnesota and practices throughout the State of Minnesota in both state and federal court. Ms. Bergstrom represents business owners, townhome and condominium associations in various insurance disputes involving storm, fire, collapse, water damage, vandalism, embezzlement, theft, and other complex claims. She routinely handles insurance claims denials and disputes, coverage issues, insurance appraisals, appeals, fraud and arson cases, agent/broker errors and omissions, and serves as a bad faith expert.   She further serves as a AAA arbitrator and an umpire and appraiser on insurance appraisals to resolve disputed damages claims. 

She litigates cases at the state district court and appellate court levels, the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.

Active in the legal community, Ms. Bergstrom is a member of various professional legal organizations including the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters,  The Community Associations Institute, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and served as the American Bar Association - Tort and Insurance Practice Section chair of the Property Insurance Litigation Committee for the 2021-2022 bar year.  She routinely lectures at educational conferences in Minnesota and throughout the country on a variety of insurance-related topics. 

Ms. Bergstrom serves as a pro bono attorney for the Children's Law Center of Minnesota, representing children in CHIPS proceedings and volunteers as a trauma-recovery yoga and meditation instructor. Ms. Bergstrom also volunteers at Secondhand Hounds, a Minnesota-based non-profit that rescues, heals, fosters and finds forever homes for at-risk dogs and cats.

Ms. Bergstrom earned her undergraduate degree from Augsburg University in Minneapolis and her law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. She has been a licensed attorney in Minnesota since 2004.
