Robert W. Rosenberg

Robert W. Rosenberg is a partner at Rosenberg, Kirby, Cahill, Stankowitz & Richardson. Located in Toms River, New Jersey, he provides representation to clients throughout Ocean and Monmouth counties in a few different aspects of the law. Focusing his practice primarily on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, Mr. Rosenberg assists people who have been harmed by the negligence of other parties, and he has been able to recover sizable amounts in that regard. Some of his representative successes include $1.3 million for a sexual assault victim, a large settlement for the families of two people who were killed in an airplane collision and nearly $4 million for the victim of an eye injury.

Mr. Rosenberg also has a criminal defense practice, and he has assisted people who have been charged with misdemeanors and felonies by the state. In addition, he represents workers who have been injured on the job or who have contracted an occupational disease and who are seeking their rightful benefits under their employer's workers' compensation insurance coverage. Mr. Rosenberg's successes in all of these endeavors have earned him the respect of his fellow professionals, as evidenced by his receipt of an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and an "Excellent" peer review rating through Avvo.

After serving in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam, Mr. Rosenberg enrolled at Montclair State College and received a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude in 1973. He then went on to attend Rutgers Law School in Newark and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1976. An active participant in the Ocean County Bar Association, Mr. Rosenberg is admitted to practice in New Jersey. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
