Steven Higgs is Board Certified in Creditors' Rights Law and in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification, which is accredited by the American Bar Association to certify attorneys in those areas of law. He is author or co-author of over 75 articles and book chapters on bankruptcy law, creditors' rights law, ethics and real estate foreclosures, including five Virginia Law Foundation handbooks: Bankruptcy Practice in Virginia, Debt Collection for Virginia Lawyers, Enforcement of Liens and Judgments in Virginia, Virginia Foreclosure Practice and The Virginia Lawyer.
