Christina L. Corwin

Attorney Christina L. Corwin has dedicated more than 23 years of her life assisting the Seattle community with their family law issues. She is a managing member of the law firm Reed Longyear Malnati Corwin Burnett, PLLC, where she offers efficacious and compassionate representation to her clients. Her areas of proficiency include:

Over the course of her career, Ms. Corwin has amassed substantial skill in dealing with a range of family law proceedings. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Washington and is admitted before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. Prior to being an adept mediator and attorney, she taught elementary and middle school students in King County, Washington. Manifesting the patience of a life-long teacher, she ensures to diligently guide her clients through complex legal processes and help them in recognizing the impact of their legal choices. 

Before delving into her legal pursuits, Ms. Corwin obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in education from the Central Washington University, graduating summa cum laude in 1992. She transitioned into law, completing her Juris Doctor degree with cum laude honors at the Seattle University School of Law in 2000. Apart from her legal interests, she is passionate about mentoring and providing support to young middle school girls during the tumultuous times of their lives. She was bestowed upon the Professionalism in Practice Award by the Washington State Bar Association in 2005 and the Award for Outstanding Volunteer by the King County Bar Association in 2002 for her professionalism and her work with domestic violence legal clinics, respectively.

Ms. Corwin has considerable experience in guiding her clients through traditional litigation, mediation and nonconventional formats such as FasTrack divorce, cooperative or collaborative law processes. In order to alleviate unnecessary legal costs, she also functions as a consultant for individuals who wish to represent themselves. An active participant in the legal community, she holds memberships with the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Association (Family Law Section), the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the King County Collaborative Law.
