Profile

Kurt founded the Law Office of Kurt E. Boehl, PLLC in 2005.  His practice is dedicated exclusively to criminal litigation, with a focus on violations of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act and the use and cultivation of medical cannabis.  Prior to entering the practice of criminal defense, Kurt gained experience as a prosecutor for the Seattle City Attorney’s Office.  Kurt’s practice extends to both state and federal courts and ranges from misdemeanors to felony strike offenses.  Kurt routinely handles cases in the District and Superior Courts of Snohomish, King, and Pierce Counties.  He was recently honored with a Martindale-Hubbell peer-review rating and is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, and the King County Bar Association’s Drug Policy Project.
