Todd Franks

Todd Franks is an attorney at the law firm of Franks Cool Houser & McVey, P.C., located in Phoenix, Arizona. With over 41 years of experience practicing law, he concentrates his practice on family law matters, domestic relations, elder law and personal injury.

With a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Mr. Franks has a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He also pursued a Ph.D. program in regulatory economics, focusing on urban and housing economics and was a Samuel S. Fels fellow.

Mr. Franks has had notable memberships in legal associations, including the Maricopa County Domestic Relations Study Committee, the American Bar Association’s Family Law Section, and the Maricopa County Volunteer Lawyers Program. He is past chair of the Arizona Supreme Court’s Creditors’ Rights Workgroup of Domestic Relations Committee, The Family Law Council of Community Property States, and Maricopa County Bar Association Family Law Section.

Actively involved in giving back to his community, Mr. Franks has served at the Arizona Department of Health, the Hillel Foundation of Arizona State University, the Center for New Directions/Arizona Action for Displaced Homemakers, the City of Phoenix Commission on Housing, the Planned Parenthood of Central and Northern Arizona, B'nai B'rith Anti-Defamation League (Arizona region) and Young Democrats of Arizona.
