My colleagues would be surprised to know that … I play the alto saxophone.

If you were in my office, you’d … notice the color teal.

When I was a newbie lawyer I … was told I couldn’t be a trial lawyer unless I developed the muscles to carry a trial bag. Thank goodness someone made one with wheels.

The lawyer I most admire is … Johnnie L. Cochran Jr. He was a brilliant advocate, always prepared, and he never gave up the fight for his clients.

The quality I most like in a lawyer is … humility.

My pre-trial routine includes … buying new makeup in the latest seasonal hues—it’s a female lawyer’s 21st-century war paint.

My career high point (so far) has been … my highest verdict—$22 million!

If I weren’t a lawyer, I … would be a ski instructor in Aspen.

When I win a case, I celebrate … with a spa weekend—preferably at the Bellagio in Vegas, usually the Four Seasons in Atlanta.

I almost quit the law because … I was told I did not have “what it takes” to be a trial lawyer and was fired from my first associate position.

The SCOTUS justice I’d most like to meet is … RBG!

The SCOTUS decision I’d most like to overturn is … Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc.

A different practice area that intrigues me is … criminal defense.

I can’t believe more people haven’t read … The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.

My fictional hero is … Wonder Woman.

My real-life hero is … RBG.

On weekends I enjoy … hot yoga.

My most bizarre talent is … tongue twisting.

The most fascinating person I ever met is … Sidney Poitier. It was at a reception in LA honoring Mr. Cochran. He’s a humanitarian, with a voice as smooth as silk.

If I won the lottery I would … split my time sailing or scuba diving in the BVIs and skiing out west.

The movie line I quote most often is … “Never burn bridges: Today’s junior prick is tomorrow’s senior partner.” – Katharine Parker (Sigourney Weaver) in Working Girl (1988).

The three people I’d invite to dinner are … Jackie Kennedy, Hillary Clinton and Melania Trump.

Nothing cheers me up like … a blowout at the Drybar with a complimentary glass of champagne.

I wish I had invented … the Keurig brewing system.

If I had a morning show, my co-host would be … Chris Rock.

The last TV show I binge-watched was … House of Cards.

My guilty pleasure is … a Zesto’s Nut Brown Crown.

My motto is … “It is what it is.”
