My pretrial routine is … listening to music to pump me up or sometimes to mellow me out.

When I started, I wish I knew … the art of billing.

If I weren’t a lawyer, I’d be … an executive director of a nonprofit, professor, and a dancer for a modern dance company.

The SCOTUS justice I’d like to meet is … Associate Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

On weekends I … take a dance class, go to brunch, and attend church.  

My motto is … ‘I can do, and am doing, hard things.’

The three people I’d invite to dinner are … my maternal grandmother (who is deceased), Mrs. Michelle Obama and Cicely Tyson.

Nothing cheers me up like … comfort food and gummy bears.
